Collective Intelligence: Looking Beyond the Discourses

Studied in the fields of psychology, management,  information sciences and communication, collective intelligence (CI) is a crucial multidisciplinary topic for the research, healthcare and corporate sectors (Lévy, 1994). The main challenge today is to settle on a formal definition of collective intelligence, which is sustainable and cross-disciplinary, to help drive innovation and allow for constant adaptation.

The international congress, “Collective Intelligence: Looking Beyond the Discourses” organized jointly by the Interpsy laboratory at Université de Lorraine and the Artem Alliance (Nancy School of Art and Design, ICN Business School and Mines Nancy) will be the first scientific event to focus on both formal and academic approaches to CI as well as a practical analysis of its implementation from an educational perspective.
