Annales des Mines Roundtable “Industrial biology: technological, economical and societal issues”
Industrial biology consists of applying engineering techniques to the living world to produce socially-desirable assets in an optimal way and at an affordable price. Today, it is a sector that is both expanding and evolving. To illustrate and continue the analyses and debates in the issue to be published in February 2017 (Industrial Realities Series) on industrial biology, Annales des Mines has organized a round table with several authors from the issue, followed by a public debate and a cocktail.
