5th session of the Personal Data Values and Policies Chair Seminar | Subjectivity, corporeality and connected objects

The ongoing development of “connected objects” and “the Internet of Everything” (from connected toothbrushes to smart electric meters) raises questions about how these objects affect our bodies. The seminar will present different theoretical and practical perspectives drawing on philosophy, sociology, design and art, in order to explore specific forms of interaction and the flow of personal data created by these objects. Speakers to be announced. This fifth session will be led by Bernard Stiegler, philosopher and Director of the Institut de recherche et d’innovation (Institute of Research and Innovation), and Thierry Vila, writer.

From 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Télécom Paris, amphi Opale, 46 rue Barrault, Paris 13e.
