3rd session of the Personal Data Values and Policies Chair Seminar | Subjectivity, corporeality and connected objects

The ongoing development of “connected objects” and “the Internet of Everything” (from connected toothbrushes to smart electric meters) raises questions about how these objects affect our bodies. The seminar will present different theoretical and practical perspectives drawing on philosophy, sociology, design and art, in order to explore specific forms of interaction and the flow of personal data created by these objects. This third session will be led by Jean-Michel Besnier, Professor Emeritus at Paris-Sorbonne and Eric Minh Muong Castaing, a choreographer and stage director.

From 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Télécom Paris, amphi B310, 46 rue Barrault, Paris 13e.
