Appointment of Gabrielle Landrac to the position of Director of Education in the Directorate General of IMT

Gabrielle Landrac was previously Director of International Relations and Academic Partnerships at IMT Atlantique. She joined the Directorate General in January 2019 and succeeded Bertrand Bonte, who left to take the position of Director of Programs at IMT Lille Douai.

After graduating from Télécom Bretagne (the former name of IMT Atlantique) in 1986, Gabrielle Landrac studied for her thesis at the University of Bretagne Occidentale. In 2005 she was accredited to supervise research at the same university.

After obtaining her PhD in 1989, Gabrielle Landrac was a lecturer in the Microwaves Department at Télécom Bretagne and then became a professor. In 2007 she became Director of Training at her former school until 2017, when IMT Atlantique was created through the merger of Télécom Bretagne with Mines Nantes. She was appointed Delegate Director of Education and Academic Affairs then Director of International Relations and Academic Partnerships at IMT Atlantique.

Gabrielle Landrac was awarded the Order of Academic Palms in 2015.

“As part of the implementation of IMT’s strategy, I will be in charge of coordinating education at the IMT schools, coordinating affiliated schools and monitoring certain projects such as apprenticeships, skills for the Industry of the Future, the Disrupt campus program, educational transformation and Bachelor’s degrees.”
