9 & 10 October: the two Carnot institutes of IMT set to meet with SMEs during the 2013 Rendez-vous Carnot

During the 2013 Rendez-vous Carnot scheduled for 9 and 10 October in Lyon, the M.I.N.E.S and Télécom & Société Numérique Carnot Institutes will be taking questions from SMEs wishing to develop research and development projects. More than 2,000 guests are expected and registration is free of charge.

For the very first time the M.I.N.E.S Carnot Institute will present its “AVENE PME” program. This new scheme which has been awarded the “Valorisation Carnot PME” title in the future investment program is set to benefit SMEs, midcaps and micro-enterprises seeking to obtain technology transfer in the field of future energy sources. To answer the questions from the numerous companies expected at this business meeting, the M.I.N.E.S Carnot Institute has been organized into categories of economic demand: Energy Transition, Eco-industries, New Materials, Industrial Plants of the Future, Sustainable Transports, Eco-construction, etc.

The M.I.N.E.S Carnot Institute, through its Carnot Europe group, will also be taking part in the round table on “European R&D Programs”, widely acknowledged as international growth drivers for SMEs.

Representatives from the various components of the Télécom & Société Numérique Carnot Institute will be meeting companies and project leaders working in the ICT, healthcare, transport, construction, sustainable development and media sectors, as well as in industrial design. They will be presenting the R & D support program developed by various academic partners.
